Kaye Ralleta
Born in a quiet coastal town in the Philippines, Kaye grew up surrounded by contradictions: serene beaches and bustling cities, tradition and rebellion, silence and color. Her father, an architect who could build anything with his hands, taught her the power of structure. Her grandmother, a former seamstress, believed that fabric held memory. “Treat it gently,” she’d say, “and it will remember the shape of your dreams.”
Naturally curious and quick to learn, Kaye pursued software engineering and soon immersed herself in the tech world. It was logical, stable, and full of possibilities, but something was missing. During lunch breaks, she sketched on napkins. At night, code gave way to cuts, seams, and fabric swatches pinned to her bedroom wall.
After relocating to Sydney, Kaye began her fashion career by working with one of Australia’s most respected bridal designers, where she honed her skills in couture techniques and luxury craftsmanship. She later designed for leading Australian fashion brands, gaining experience across womenswear, occasionwear, knitwear, and tailoring. During this time, she quietly began developing her own design aesthetic, working from her apartment kitchen, which doubled as her cutting table.
Her ethos is shaped by contrast: combining structure with softness, boldness with serenity, and intellect with emotion. Each piece is crafted with intention, blending technical precision with narrative depth. For Kaye, design is not just about clothing, it’s about creating garments that speak to complexity, confidence, and quiet strength.
Her approach to fashion is grounded in thoughtful construction, emotional resonance, and a commitment to making contradiction beautiful.
